Sponsorship and Exhibition

While reptiles and amphibians are among the most numerous terrestrial vertebrates on the planet, they are also the mostthreatened. The name herpetology is the term given to the study of reptiles and amphibians. Every 4 years the World Congress of Herpetology brings together the world's top herpetologists and their students to discuss every aspect of the ecology and biology of the world's reptiles and amphibians.

The mission of the World Congress of Herpetology (WCH) is to promote herpetological research, education and conservation, by facilitating communication between individuals, societies and other organisations engaged in the study of amphibians and reptiles.

We are expecting over 1000 delegates from a wide spectrum of disciplines and professional backgrounds, including universities, government agencies, wildlife managers and NGOs.

The congress will present the ideal platform for you to showcase your products ranging from laboratory and environmental research equipment, field gear and radio-transmitters to publications on herpetology or research techniques, plus much more.

The congress has invited a rich diversity of renowned international and national speakers and has an extensive scientific programme. Sponsored sessions are available; please check the package details for eligibility. The congress will take place at the University of Otago in Dunedin, voted as one of the most beautiful campuses in the world.

We recognise the importance for exhibitors to have ready access to delegates and have prioritised this accordingly. The majority of the trade exhibition space will be immediately adjacent to the congress presentations, with delegates congregating in the display area for morning and afternoon teas. We look forward to your contribution to the 2020 World Congress of Herpetology and learning more about the products and services that you offer.
