Camila Ferrara

Veterinary degree from Santo Amaro University, and master and Ph.D. in Aquatic Biology by the National Institute of Amazon Research. Since 2004 I have been working in the Amazon region studying biology and ecology of turtles. Currently the focus is on reproduction, acoustic communication and conservation of turtles, especially the Podocnididae family. I started my activities as a turtle specialist with the Wildlife Conservation Society - WCS - Brazil in 2013.
